Bill: Right-Wing Cabinet Proposal of March 4502

Details

Submitted by[?]: People's Party of Hutori

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4502

Description[?]:

The People's Party proposes that the right-wing parties shall, once again, have the confidence of Parliament to form government. We choose the National Party for leadership as they are the largest party and it will promote stability. We will also work with the Hutori Socialists given their stance on the public ownership of core industries.

MessageI strongly support a right wing cabinet, i really do. But this cabinet will increase the governments spending and promote a left wing economy which hurts the nation as a whole but more importantly the Hutorian people.

MessageMr Speaker,

Granted that both the National Party and the People's Party voted to move towards further privatisation in the defence and health industries less than two years ago (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=589190), I find it humorous for them to claim that they also support "public ownership of core industries". The fact that the People's Party believes they can appease us into another right-wing period of government with 2 out of 13 ministerial positions is similarly laughable.

The current government coalition continues to have a majority and that has our full support. This proposal does not come close.

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.

Random quote: "I am a conservative to preserve all that is good in our constitution, a radical to remove all that is bad. I seek to preserve property and to respect order, and I equally decry the appeal to the passions of the many or the prejudices of the few." - Benjamin Disraeli
