| Message | President Carter’s final words to the nation ‘Wow. What a shocking defeat. I just don’t know what to say! Thank you, thank you to all of the party campaigners, managers and other politicians who helped fuel my re-election campaign. Thank you. Thank you to the presidential staffers who have supported me for these last three and a half years, seriously couldn’t have done it without you. It is an amazing feat that we retained a similar amount of voters in the first round, showing that the plurality of Solentia still agrees with me and my vision. I do want to congratulate though leader Harry Feather who managed to achieve gains for the party in the Senate! Amazing! I would like to congratulate President-elect Martínez on his victory and we look forward to working with EGP leader Joaquín González to pass legislation that will improve the environment. Together, we have a majority on these issues! Wow! I would also like to congratulate Bündnis der Liberalkonservativen. Despite our major differences, you have played a massive part in our great democracy. We look forward to passing legislation with you on issues we share common ground. It is time for me however to go back to Elsa and rest. I will probably run for President again next term and I hope we can secure the EGP backing. Thank you all.' |
