| Message | This Bill proposes a 3% budget cut from current levels to something a bit more reasonable given our surplus. The top four tax brackets are reduced by 1 percent each. As we reduce spending, we will propose further tax bills to bring revenue generation further into line with spending. After revenues are settled, we will offer a spending bill. This plan is endorsed by the Finance Minister, and reflects the discussions held during the Cabinet negotiations. The SP is as good as their word. |
