We believe that as long as it is not an issue of the citizens welfare,the state should not subsidise or forcefully keep afloat any institution or business therefore the following should be released to the free market and allowed to compete and be decided by the public if they should stay afloat,We would also like to stress that competition would result in the said institutions improvement to successfully compete in the Market

MessageThese proposals have nothing to do with the market, only education and culture. As this bill currently stands, nobody will benefit.

We do, though, have recommendations to make this bill supportable:
1) Just remove the library system bill completely, what we have now is cheaper and more efficient.
2) If you must privatize museums and art galleries, we won't support doing it unless provisions are made in order safely sell and transport all pieces to their new owners and take care of them before a buyer is found. We'd also like to see either sister bills or additional provisions which require the new owners to display their pieces and establish a government organization which oversees the sale and care of these pieces, they are our nations history you know.
3) We prefer our current policy regarding government funding for private schools, but, although less desirable, we'd be fine with the proposed.

MessageDid you even listen to me? I said the NCP would support this bill if it ensured the safety of our cultural relics and removed the article which shut down the national library. Is it not enough that you've put our economy at risk but you now must put our history and culture at risk as well? Damn, I think you're turning our party into a third socialist party.

Since we've been completely ignored, we'll vote to protect Kalistan's cultural artifacts.

MessageWe're sure we have the support of SPoK and the UKWF on this bill, but we'd like to call upon the Patriotic League Deputies to join us and put aside our differences, albeit momentarily, in order to protect our culture. If they truly believe themselves to be patriotic, they will.

Although we'll be maintaining our no vote on this bill, we'll introduce a sister bill which would lessen the negative effects caused by its passage (If it's passed) by establishing an agency which would ensure the safekeeping of Kalistani art and relics. We call on all Deputies to support its creation, whether they've supported or opposed this bill.
