Voting deadline: April 4526

Description[?]:

MessageOnce more the left parties win the presidency by a hair, once more far away from a majority in the assembly. When you become the goverment unlike when you rebelled you actually have to represent the majority of Kalistan. A goverment consistng of the three parties that started this turmoil without a offer of reconciliation is laughable. Now the Patriotic League dosent demand that we sit in this goverment. But we simply can't vote yes on a minority goverment ONLY consisting of the very parties that rebelled against the previous democratically elected goverment. Kalistan needs unity. Kalistan needs a strong majority goverment. Like what Kalistan had under the 8 years of President Blake or under Furhat. You can't govern without consensus. This cabinet composition is impossible. Try another.

MessageImpossible cabinet composition would be a cabinet with any amounts of PL bile or an LDP head. We're not too keen on working with the parties which have pushed Kalistan to the brink of civil war. We don't wish to work with the traitors who have and will continue to destroy every fiber of Kalistan.

With respect, I request the Patie traitors to fuck right on off.

MessageComrades,

We are not expecting this government to pass. Just so we are clear. This proposal was made so the majority of the Assembly could vote against it, and the Opposition can stay entirely out of the Government. A defeat of this bill is essentially an endorsement of the civil war.

So can we cut the OOC chatter here and focus on the needs of the People of Kalistan? Which means taking PL Assembly members out into the Ananto Straits on a container ship and informing our nation's enemies that it is there, so they can have their target practice?

The tirade of the PL and the impugning the electoral process of Kalistan has got to stop. It elected a President on the Second ballot, by the rules. The Prerogative gives the Plurality the right to propose the next government bill when this one fails, and the Opposition now has no reason to come in from the Civil War. We are going to continue fighting until the PL's legislation is overturned, because say what you like about it: the entire legislative slate of the Liberals in Kalistan is anti-Kalistani. If you want to call it anarchocapitalism, you can call it that. If you want to call it police-statism, and have that be an entirely accurate description of the nonsense put forth by the so called "Patriots" then go for it. I don't particularly care. But we are going to continue to fight until that agenda is reversed, because it really is anti-thetical to Kalistani traditions.

We don't feel there is any need to engage the PL any longer. On anything. And the SP does not intend to.

MessageAnd further more: It is fascinating that the PL insists now on reconciliation and concensus, when the bills they have proposed have had the consensus of only two Parties who have formed a majority, while cutting the interests of the other Parties entirely out of the conversation. The goal was to reorient the country, at all costs, without exception. To force the nation to adopt that monstrous ideology, whether the opposition approved at all. We got all sorts of paeans to the notion that "Well, this is democracy... sorry..."

But now the PL talks about consensus?

There will be none. The only consensus the SP will participate in is one which excludes the PL from all levels of Government. We might be willing to work with the LDP, because we have historically found some basis for cooperation with the LDP, and served willingly under a LDP President. But we have no basis for modus vivendi with the Patriot League. So we will never be willing to work with them. At some point in the past, we attempted, and they countered with a "my way or the highway" proposal on militias, and it was very important for them that the SP support their anti-militias act, so they could have the appearance of bi-partisan support. We would not play along, so they made war on Kalistan.

And now, there is literally no ground for "consensus" left with them. They need to be out of government, and need to be marginalized to the point where they can never affect life of the people of Kalistan again.

MessageThe PL proposed liberal economic policy. We propsed the end of the militia system in favour of a professionell military system. In response instead of actually try to win election for which they have failed at for a very long time, the opposition went in to rebellion.

MessageOOC first of all we agreed to the rp until the elections, which have passed therefore as far as i am concerned the civil war rp is over second of all *ahem*
İC we are willing to compromise and form a government which may get the approval of the assembly to some degree and end hostilites HOWEVER as we said before we will not be bullied to a certain government by ANYONE. We have had some negotiations with some opposition members from the NCP about a possible government other than that we can only say that when we have the chance we will attempt an appeasing government coalition

MessageOOC: We NEVER agreed to RP until the Elections. I certainly didn't do that. In fact, I said, correctly that we wouldn't even be done planning by the election.

So as far as I am concerned, the RP is NOT Over.

IC: As I said, I expect the PL will offer a government bill as soon as this one fails. Or before, it really don't matter. I put my proposal out, and didn't get a majority vote on it, so we will continue with the planning for the civil war.
