| PRESERVATION OF THE MONARCHY CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT I. The monarchy, being the soul of the KINGDOM OF KANJOR, can not be legally or constitutionally abolished or overthrown. II. Any law, referendum or constitutional amendment that seeks to abolish or diminish the monarchy and powers thereof is, through this amendment, considered unlawful and its effects are not to be honored by the estates-general, courts or government of the KINGDOM OF KANJOR. III. The house of Deux-Rivières and its cadet branch of Orléans-Vasser-Deux-Rivières and any descendants thereof are hereby granted, in perpetuity, the right to hold the throne of the KINGDOM OF KANJOR through agnatic-cognatic primogeniture. IV. If the royal houses mentioned in Article III. cease to exist, action is to be taken by the estates-general to ensure the continuation of the monarchy under the closest living relative of the last occupant of the throne. All articles of this amendment will, thereafter, apply to the royal house that has ascended to the throne through this article. V. If the monarchy is overthrown, which is deemed illegal through this amendment, any parties seeking to restore the function of the monarchy are legally allowed to seek both domestic and international support to ensure the restoration of royal rule. VI. Repeal of this amendment to the constitution of the KINGDOM OF KANJOR can only be legally valid if endorsed personally by the ruling monarch of the KINGDOM OF KANJOR. This means, therefore, that through this amendment, the removal of the monarchy under any circumstances is considered illegal and unconstitutional unless the monarch consents. |
