Message | We've asked numerous times and have never gotten an answer, what what is the the reason for the creation of corporation and essential goods taxes? We currently have a quite hefty income surplus, so any tax increases would be completely unnecessary unless they're accompanied by increases in spending. And even if we were to increase taxes, why create one on essential goods? Those are the goods our people need in order to survive, we should working to decrease their costs rather than increase them. And as for the corporation tax, I believe SPoK law makers in the past had it right in saying that these were just back door sales taxes (We make corporations pay us, so they make customers pay more in order to make up the loss). I do realise that this is an omnibus bill, but these are the questions about the LRP's policy that the NCP wants answers to. Leader of the NCP Minority Brock Myers (NCP - Neveras) |
