Message | No way, corporate taxes are harmful to the economy in the worst way, I'd prefer a sales tax on luxury goods. |

Message | I'd prefer no sales tax... which we already have. |

Message | I'd prefer only a 1 percent income tax and no other taxes whatsoever...but hey we can all dream, can't we! I prefer sales taxes to corporate taxes because corporate taxes cause companies to fire workers, while no one will stop buying luxury goods because they cost 16 cents more. We really need to work on improving our employment statistics, we have provinces where its nearly 8% unemployment, that's unacceptable. |

Message | Corporations should be taxed in order to fund important projects. Yes, we can improve our unemployment statistics, but not by lowering corporate taxes. Corporate taxes will not cause companies to fire workers if we pass legislation so that a company can only fire its workers if they do something illegal or are consistently poor in their job performance (showing up late, turning in work late, etc.). Bosses should not be allowed to fire workers whenever they feel like it. If we defend the rights of workers to keep their jobs, then unemployment will go down and fewer people will be fired. Then we can maintain a high corporate tax without the problem of companies firing too many workers. |

Message | We only have high unemployment thanks to the boom and bust economic politics being practice by LBSC, PDA and LPD The choice for the voters is simple, economic stablitiy, pragmatism and social justice from the SDP, or boom and bust economics, idealogical dogma and an unfair and unfree society from LPD |
