Nuclear power is safe and is becoming safer. Renewable power is not at the stage to replace other forms of power generation and nuclear energy outputs the least amount of pollution compared to other forms such as coal and natural gas.

Under this bill the Nuclear power plants would be encouraged by granting tax relief and subsidies.

Our government is very supportive of the use of nuclear energy, and it's legalization is a priority of ours. However, we will not use taxpayer money to fund it, we believe it should be solely in the hands of the private sector.
