(This bill was proposed by ther leader of the National Progress Party Justine Bates) The governement of the Federal Republic of Hutori should be a secular one. The very idea of freedom of religion is based upon the idea of maintning peace between people of diffrent religion. If the governement is seen as prioritizing one religion over the other, mayit be only be symbolically, we are posing threat to that very peace between religion because we are purposely marginalising member of other religion. This is why we must have no official state religion and have no representent of the state wearing religious symbols. Article 1) Upon the passage of this bill, the hutorina state shall have no religion being presented as it's official religion. Article 2) Upon the passage of this bill, public officials shall not be allowed to wear any kind of religious symbol. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, freedom of religion allows people to wear religious symbols. This bill I nothing more than liberal progressives attempting to erase Hutoprian identity & culture. NSF |

Message | Mr Speaker, While we can support Article 2, we cannot support Article 1. Hutorians currently have the right to freely practice and express their religious beliefs, and this bill seeks to strip that right from a large group of Hutorians. Hon. Mélina Giroux Senator for St Anslem Nicolet Leader of the Royal Conservative Party of Hutori |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We can't agree with both our colleugues. It is certainly not a right for state employees to wear religious symbol on their workplace . The governement has the right, like any ohter emplyer, to decide who can and cannot work for it and it is not a infringement of any rights to do so. -Jusitne Bates Leader of the National Progress Party and former President |

Message | Mr. Speaker, the dam purpose of this bill is to not "marginalize" any fragment fo society. Yet the NPP claims "The government has the right, like any other employer, to decide who can and cannot work for it and it is not an infringement of any rights to do so." if that is not clear hypocrisy I do not know what is! I as that Justine Bates resign a leader of the NPP, at least before her, they did not contradict themselves in the same bill. NSF |
