Bill: Cabinet Proposal of July 4585

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4586

Description[?]:

Hello everyone! The election has shown that the people are sick of your anti-social and fascist policies. They have given us a clear mandate and we are the biggest parliamentary group here, far before the others. We are asking for confidence and support from the right-wing and liberal parties here. We have to block this fascist government which promotes racial segregation, discrimination, restriction of civil liberties and anti-social measures. Our project is to do all the contrary.
However, if our minority government doesn't have the support from other democratic parties, then we'll lead a strong coordinated opposition, an anti-fascist army in the parliament, against the weak, badly coordinated fascist government.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We in the Liberal Party has always had the long time held view the largest party can seek a Minority Government with Supply or a Coalition. So if this is the path they chose to take with our a supply partner or a Coalition then we will vote no.

You know what they think of the right-wing parties, we gained more seats and don't forget we still have the majority so why are you trying to insult us with the communists gaining seats when
a) we also did and
b) we still have the majority so why would we let you run the country when we have a working government right now?
