MessageMr speaker,

myself and my party cannot, and will not support the coronation of the new king due to ideological opposition to the monarchy itself. Therefore we will not be voting in favour of this motion and encourage sitting parties of the legislature to do the same.

MessageMr Speaker,

I will remind all parties in this house again that it is illegal under Hutorian Law to impede the coronation of a new monarch. If parties decide to vote against this coronation, we will have no choice but to try them for treason.

MessageMr speaker,

the law that the Rt Honourable lady speaks of is fundamentally undemocratic. It is the duty of members of this house of parliament to vote freely in the way they see to benefit the people of Hutori, without manipulation and therefore this law undermines the democratic principles of the legislature due to it preventing freedom of voting. We refuse to support such autocracy.

I will note the penalty for voting against it AND the Bill Failing results in the Parties who voted for it having their seat counts simply reset for the rest of the Term. You arent charged with treason.
