Message | Solidarität, while supportive of the increased spending on international relations and national defense capabilities, cannot support this budget because of its half a billion DDO spending cut to Health and Social Services. This means an underfunded healthcare system, an underfunded social care system. We urge all of our fellow parties to reject this budget and instead force this Government to not cut key priorities in order to fund other priorities: We can have both! We must have both! |

Message | I can tell Solidarität one thing. We can NOT have both. In order for us to have a budget that is still somewhat balanced we needed to make concessions and these were the concessions we chose for. With this budget as proposed we massively increase our capabilities while limiting losses to healthcare and ensuring we maintain a balanced budget |
Date | 19:15:21, July 07, 2019 CET | From | Föderalistische Partei | To | Debating the Budget proposal of February 4602 |
Message | While the FP supports a moderate increase in defense spending, we cannot support this budget as it would create a deficit. Also, we are curious as to why the Ministry of Foreign Affairs requires such a sharp increase in funding. If the DKP were to propose a slightly more modest increase that would result in our budget remaining balanced, then we would gladly vote "aye". |
