Bill: Budget proposal of August 4625

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4626

Description[?]:

For the year 4626, we propose to stop financing 3 school trips of a duration of 1 week per year, but instead finance 2 of these school trips. The other one will be optional. We also propose to decrease funding for shool which cannot fill all their classrooms and are left with many vacant classrooms.
Concerning infrastructure, we plan to build some bridges where it is needed and provide more bus lines and train stations.
We also want to increase health and Social Services spending in order to give a 4% increase in voluntary pensions (since this is the system we have).

MessageMr. Speaker,
Also, the roads in Luthori are in a disastrous state. The Infrastructure budget might be used for this.

MessageMr Speaker,

What nonsense. The roads are fine, since we doubled the infrastructure budget during the time of the Right Coalition.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
