Bill: Bipartisan Cabinet Proposal of December 4637

Details

Submitted by[?]: Voorwaartse Seridjan

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4638

Description[?]:

Our party is not ready for a full majority government, having only been founded a year before its majority. Our country has seen radical reform. To avoid promoting a political culture of destabilizing polarization, our party remains committed to bipartisan cooperation, hence why we endorsed the incumbent president. We believe this cabinet proposal will allow our leader to earn political experience serving alongside experienced politicians.

As released in the press, the Federal Party has indicated willingness to enter a coalition with our party. Thus, we are moving this bill forward — it is our hope that this government will ensure national unity and peace for all Saridanis.

Random fact: In cases where players have failed to clearly and accurately reference their nation's RP laws in the "Bills under debate" section, Moderation will rule them invalid if a challenge is made to their validity.

Random quote: "The main problem of the left is that it has been traditionally divided and unable to reach agreements between different leftist views, whilst the right has almost always moved in the same direction by giving concessions to different rightist points of view." - Aelius Celer, former Selucian politician
