Bill: RP Proposal: Local elections

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4658

Description[?]:

We are proposing "organise" local elections in Luthori. Every 5 years, the Luthorians would elect across the country 30 000 city coucillors. The results of the local elections would be equal to the mean result of the 3 last legislative election. Example : if a party makes 15%, 20% and 25% at the last 3 legislative elections, they would receive 20% of the votes and of the seats at the local election. If parties dissolve between the elections, there will be local parties or independent councillors.
The election would occur every 5 years starting in January 4660. They would not have any impact on the game mechanics, just for fun. The results would be showed on the wiki.

MessageI like it as well. We also believe that a governor of a region should be known as a Duke/Duchess since a region is known as a Duchy, it fits well with the elective monarchy we have.

MessageWe proposed local elections and not regional election. We are talking about city councils not regions or states.

MessageOkay... so if I understand it right the local elections will only be in the listed cities in the cities section. If so we should at the same time consider planning for regional elections as well.

MessageNo, I don't mean on the listed cities. I mean the global results of ALL the cities and village. And the global result would be equal to the mean of the last 3 elections. So you would have like 30 000 seats total for every party.
