Message | The industry in question is defence! No country can be secure when it’s armed forces are loyal to private individuals rather than the country. Mercedes Xirau Leader of the Libertarian Party |

Message | And so we can add regulations regarding who can control it - but if the industry is nationalized, think on the ramifications should a tyrannical government ever take power. They would have all the weapons, and thereby, power, of the nation at their disposal! We could ensure that Gaduri Defense Industries remain majority Gaduri-owned, and have an oversight committee. But nationalization of such a vital industry is out of the question! |

Message | Our party believes in democracy. If a party wins an election then they have a mandate to direct government policy and that means they should be able to rely on the support of the armed forces to enforce those policies. An industry as important to our national preservation as defence should not be in the hands of corporations. Mercedes Xirau Leader of the Libertarian Party |

Message | Let those be the immortal words on the Libertarian Party's tombstone when radical political revolutionaries target political minorities with the power bestowed onto them by this act - a situation which has happened before, and because of this legislation, may happen once more. Woe to those who do not learn from history! |

Message | I would rather have a government that can be removed from power by the democratic mechanisms, than a private corporation that is loyal only to its shareholders, control the armed forces in this country. Mercedes Xirau Leader of the Libertarian Party |
