Public services are monopolies. We subsidized public transport thanks to a monopoly. All monopolies are not bad. The Green Party should think about that.

99.9% of the time monopolies do not serve the same purpose as public services, public services are OBLIGED to serve the community, monopolies are not, monopolies also eliminate small businesses making extremely hard for the ordinary man to run a business in the same field as a monopoly. It would be a LOT easier to subsidise public transport if it was in the public industry.
