Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

| Proposing a Cabinet- For far too long in this nation we have had two large political parties dominate governance. And they have become, over the years, clearly more interested in scoring political victories against one another than governing this country. And we, the multiple smaller parities who make up this body have become pawns in their little game. Each of us offering our votes to one of these parties or the other to give them the majority they need to form a government and to hold the prime minister's chair. And now we see one of those parties, the "New" Luthori First Party saying that they don't need to work with any more parties than is absolutely necessary in order to form a majority. Well, it is time to say that enough is enough. It is these larger parties who need us, who need our votes, and not the other way around. And we have before us the opportunity to send them that message. We don't need either large party to form a government. I urge members to vote for this proposal and form a government that has neither the Communist Party or the Luthori First Party. |
