Bill: Lexit (please read)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Republican Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4706
Description[?]:
Sadly I must inform the parties of Likatonia that trade sanctions have passed the security council and are binding, with that being said our national sovereignty is at risk and our only route to gain it back will be, to leave the World Congress. Trade Sanctions will hurt our economy especially since a country that sanctions have been placed on borders ours. The Security Council which is made up of a handful of nations has the power to tell Likatonia what to do and we have no representation in it which is unacceptable! To protect our sovereignty we have to leave the World Congress. Article One: On May 1st 4705 Likatonia will officially leave the World Congress, we will not abide by their rules and their resolutions are non-binding. Likatonia will also stop participating in the General Assembly and will remove all nominations for the Security Council. |

Message | I urge all members to approve this bill, most representatives agree that slavery is evil but we cannot completely end trade with those nations. The fact that the Security Council can pass binding resolutions without representation from countries that are effected by them is unacceptable, I can not think of a worse way to govern! I do not wish to leave this great body of friends from all over Terra, but we must place Likatonia first and leave the World Congress, thank you.
