MessageSenator Simone Vestiti addressed the Senate, “This bill will enhance the quality of our centers of higher learning by allowing local boards more discretion in educational funding and academic programming priorities. Regional and local university and trade school boards will be better suited to cooperate with primary and preparatory schools than one centralized national board. Increased local autonomy and collaboration will position institutions of higher learning to better serve and meet the needs of students throughout their academic life-cycle, from preschool to technical training to postgraduate studies.”

“While the new system will take away powers such as Imperial appointment and national budgetary oversight, devolving these responsibilities to local governing boards will eliminate micromanagement from the highest levels of national government. Instead, the students, faculty, families, and voters nearest to our institutions of higher learning will take upon themselves the initiative to administer the education of Dolgaria’s greatest resource……our children.”

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
