Bill: A Regulated Economy for the Workers
Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4730
Description[?]:
An unregulated economy can only lead to the worst excesses. An economy that works for everyone, a fair economy, is an economy regulated by the government to ensure that the multinationals and the billionaires are not stealing from the people. With these measures, we can be sure that the workers are paid fairly and that no one is left behind. We have everyday people who tell us: "I'm living on the minimum wage, I can't pay my bills, I can't go on vacation every year, I can't offer presents to my children on christmas time" and so on! Dear colleagues, it is unacceptable. We should have a better control on the economy of our country if the multinational and the super-rich don't do it for us. We're one of the few parties to say it out loud: Yes, the rich should pay. |
