Message | As my mother is so fond of saying "If it's cold you can always put on more clothes, but there's only so many pieces of clothing you can take off to stay cool." Our people are really sweating it out just to stay in compliance with old archaic laws on nudity. Nudity does not equate sexual action (which is illegal in public anyways) and is not detrimental to our children (I mean come on everyone that's just silly). This isn't about expression, this is about being able to survive in the continual heat that is being generated by our climate and our industry. Unless the Christian Democrats are willing to spend BILLIONs in the creation of air-conditioned tunnels, our populace will be suffering from the ever increasing temperture, and our own desire to cool ourselves, by yet making our environment heat issue worse. |

Message | "As sexual action and displays in public are prohibited, easing laws on public nudity could be construed to permit toplessness, but not the baring of genitalia. This is something the Christian Democrats are not opposed to in principle. Essentially, 'nudity', for legal purposes, would mean baring your entire body except for your genitalia. A person could therefore go outdoors in a thong and nothing else, although that would probably be the bare minimum under any considered law. Nude beaches would still permit full nudity. This is a bill we could get behind." -- Vivanne Dynamis, Minister of the Interior |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
