(This bill was proposed by the minister of Health and Socials Services Kashayla Norman) Following the passage of the highly contreversial legislation that nationalise entirely the healthcare system and ban private clinic, we propose some form of arrangement. Knowing that the public system is not ready to welcome all the patients that use to go to private institute, we propose that some private clinics might be allowed to open under certain condition. These clinics will be tightly regulated and oversee by the ministry of Health and Socials Services who will ensure that the service provided are of decent quality. More importantly, the price at which these private clinics will charge their patient will be stricly regulated to ensure that they don't overprice crucial medical necessities. Provision; Article 1)The ministry of Health and Socials Services shall be responsible of tightly regulating all private clinics within hutorian territory. Article 2) A private clinic shall be define as a clinic that is not directly controleld by the federal governement. |

Message | Mr. Speaker This has been an ongoing issue with this government that they purposefully leave government regulations vague, and bills extremely poorly written. Thanks to the, as they themselves have written into an OFFICIAL Government Sponsored Bill, "highly controversial" piece of legislation that used to nationalize the entire Healthcare system, without checking the strain of the system itself, and removing the funding the Provincial Governments were using to half pay for the system, we are not at a cross roads. We support allowing for Private Clinics be reopened, as long as a legislative rider is put directly into the Legislation that allows the Provinces to continue running some of their hospitals as "private clinics" with private clinics simply being defined as any "Not Federally Run". Further we await the Auditor General's Report that should be coming out shortly, on exactly how much shortfall this government has placed on our system, and how much this Government hasn't thought of it's many many different programs without putting any additional resources into the system, or checking in with the Public Servants that need to physically implement these systems.
