MessageMr. Speaker,
The mean salary is above 5 000 LPD. You're going to tax the middle class. Is that what you stand for?

MessageMr Speaker,

We are actually moving the burden to a broader section of society as we intend to abolish VAT on essential goods and slightly increase it on luxuries, to restore parity for the people.

MessageMr. Speaker,
Yes, to a broader section of society which just means you're increasing taxes for the middle class. I want everyone to hear that. Your tax plans are not beneficial for the Luthorian people and we're happy to see all the opposition united against those projects.

MessageMr Speaker,

Increasing taxes on the wealthy to fund public services and VAT abolition, yes. As a wealthy individual, I welcome paying more.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I know many people, whether they are White Rose or Socialist Party voters who earn more than 5 000 LPD and are NOT wealthy.
This is a real mockery you're doing here! You pretend you're doing this to fund public services and VAT abolition. But how do you know you have a majority of seats supporting both bills in this parliament?
60 % taxes for people who have already difficulties paying their bills, paying for their rents. How disgraceful that is!
The symbolic is there and no matter what you're doing with the money, this won't compensate in any way.
The Socialist Party wants less taxes on the poor and on the middle class while the White Rose wants more taxes for their little plans, that you don't know if they have a majority on both bills!
Once everyone understands, your party will be over just like the LCP was at a time and you won't be able to ignore the democratically elected Imperator Tom Jones.
By the way, the LDL, which provides confidence and supply to your cabinet, rejects this reform, it's already starting to look bad for the new White Rose cabinet!

Pedro Carvalos, MP.
