Bill: Bill UP-4: Child Labour Ban
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hutorian Unity Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4805
Description[?]:
The Unity Party is appalled to read that Child Labour is still legal within the nation of Hutori. The thought that young children are working in harsh conditions in this country is disgusting. No human should be able to find employment in work that requires labour unless they are an adult (aged 16 or over according to Hutorian law). Children must first complete schooling so that they are prepared for any employment. Therefore, we must forbid this vile practise. Child Labour is only legal in authoritarian, backwards nations - and Hutori is certainly not that. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning child labour.
Old value:: Child labour is allowed, but with additional regulations to those of adult labourers.
Current: Child labour is forbidden.
Proposed: Child labour is forbidden.
