MessageMr. Speaker,

It is quite funny, in my opinion, the Conservatives propose an increase in spending after this party said they would like a decrease. We still believe this budget is very much needed, though so we will support it under one condition: may the Conservative Party promise that they will help the Unity Party in decreasing the Luxury Goods tax sometime in the future?

MessageMr Speaker,

A reduction of the Luxury Goods Sales Tax is not currently in our government's plans.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I did not ask the hon. minister if it was currently in his plans, just if he is to consider decreasing the tax in the future.

MessageMr Speaker,

As I've said to the member opposite already, it is not something we are considering at the moment.
