Description[?]:
(This bill was proposed by the minsiter of Finance Kristina Palmer) The order for the state to truly embrace the principle of separation between church and state, we need to consider church the way we would consider corporations. In a corporation, charitable donation are taxed since they could easily be considered to be advertisement for this compagnie. The same could go for a Church, a religion could give money to charity simple to better their public relationship and attract new followers. This is why we need to fully tax church, without exception. |

Message | Mr. Speaker Taxing the charity of the churches is a disgrace because the church can sometimes offer what this government can’t and that’s hope. The church can offer children’s hospitals hope by the donations raised. They can offer hope by giving funds to homeless shelters. Most of the main religions can offer something great to the people of this free nation but the government needs to get of the peoples back and get out of there pocket. Rt. Hon. Bruce Kimmo |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The Workers League concurs with the opinion of the National Change Party. Charity is a force for good and should not be discouraged by taxes. This goes for not just charities but for everything. We should not punish generosity. Nathan DeLaurier, Senate Leader of the Workers League of Hutori, Senator for Port Prosperity Centre |
