Message | Mr. Speaker, Hutori has been running a surplus for decades now. Though it is important to keep our finances balanced, we have the budget to invest more in areas that desperately need more funding. We suggest we use that surplus to invest in our healthcare system, invest more in the Department of Industry and the State Corporations, and our green energy and industry. Hon. Patrick Arbour, Senate Leader for the Worker's League, Senator for St. Anslem Saint-Jean |
Date | 01:30:21, December 02, 2020 CET | From | The Popular Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of December 4854 |
Message | Mr. Speaker We, the Popular Party, agree wholeheartedly with the proposal to increase spending in areas such as Health and Social Services, However our party also stands for agrarianism and would apricate if 2,000,000 HLR was added to the Food and Agriculture budget as well. Mrs. Jaakkima Grenville Popular Party Whip/Party Leadership Council Chairwoman Senator for Dalry, Lagard |
Date | 23:20:33, December 02, 2020 CET | From | National Change Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of December 4854 |
Message | Mr. Speaker The National Change Party agrees with the spending proposals on our healthcare and environment and tourism but can the senator promise that in the future this spending won’t in crease taxes on the Hutorian people? Rt. Hon Bruce Kimmo NCP leader |
Date | 21:35:08, December 06, 2020 CET | From | Worker's League of Hutori | To | Debating the Budget proposal of December 4854 |
Message | Mr.Speaker, We promise that we will not increase taxes on the Hutorian people due to this bill. This bill is only taking advantage of the preexisting surplus we have and we do not need to increase taxes on the people to support it. To address the Popular Party's concerns, we will not be able to afford both this proposal and an increase in funding for the Food and Agriculture budget with the surplus we currently have. Hon. Patrick Arbour, Senate Leader for the Worker's League, Senator for St. Anslem Saint-Jean |
