Bill: Televised Nudity Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party of Darnussia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2221

Description[?]:

The nude human body is a perfectly natural thing and nothing to be ashamed of in any way. Why, then, should nudity be confined strictly to hours when few children watch? Our nation is a very uninhibited nation and it is time that nudity be permitted on television. Our current law prohibits certain educational programmes, as well as a number of art programmes and nature programmes, from being broadcast on television. We should admire the human body in its natural state and teach our children not to be ashamed of themselves.

For those who are concerned about young children seeing sexual content at too young an age, this law still pushes sexually explicit content to hours when few children watch. Sex is a perfectly natural thing, but we still must acknowledge that little children are too young to know all about the mechanics of sex, let alone witness pornography.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
