Description[?]:
Colleagues, This is the official budget proposal from the Left coalition. While I was not able to recieve feedback from the other two parties and their representatives, I hope that after placing this forward to a vote that we can pass this proposal in one of the major efforts of our cabinet in order to ease the financial burden of our people. While I understand that a 10 trillion dollar decrease in our defense budget may seem a bit radical, but I’ve reworked it so that we had close to 9 trillion dollars to place in other key departments, all the while continuing to have one of the largest defense budgets in the world. Our nation is not involved in any conflicts, as well as any international crises or potential combative situations. I feel that this kind of cut is necessary in order to return the focus of our national budget to our own people, here at home. The other changes in our budget are as follows: Head of Government: - $10,000,000 Finance: + $500,000,000 Education & Culture: + $5,000,000,000 Science & Technology: - $1,000,000,000 Environment & Tourism: + $200,000,000 Trade & Industry: + $4,000,000,000 With these changes, the total federal budget will be $169,705,000,000. With this decrease, our nation will have an added surplus of $1,310,000,000, on top of the surplus the previous government left after the last general election. If we encounter a time of crisis, the federal government now has an even larger amount of funds to pull from and distribute as needed. I hope that you all consider this budget, as it is time we focus on the future of our nation. This plan will work best for our working class, not the ruling class. As it is the working class that brought us here, with their blood, sweat, tears, and votes. Solidarity Forever, Rebecca Lee Minister of Finance |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The education budget is already very high, while the Health and Social Services budget is very low. This is totally unacceptable for a party that claims to support the "workers". We need to support our military and its operations abroad. We also need it to defend our country against left-wing terrorists. The NM will fight this left-wing madness until the end. John of Hurrington, MP. |
