MessageHi Everyone,
We at the Growth and Efficiency Party feel that a national mascot for export products will lay the groundwork for a competitive Jelbanian export industry in the near future

Message(ooc:) Please ignore the bit about the mascot, was about a previous bill. The Growth and Efficiency Party is a strong supporter of devolution, but feel that a single national standard allows for scale of investment that is simply not possible on a smaller regional scale.

MessageThe Government only recently repealed the Conservatives former investment act.

Local governments may best decide on the level of foreign investment allowed. The DLP opposes this bill wholeheartedly.

Message"freely invest in national companies" It says National companies. It says nothing on smaller companies, so I assume that is left to local govs.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "I got nothing against no Viet Cong. No Vietnamese ever called me a nigger." - Muhammad Ali, 1967, refusing to fight in Vietnam
