Description[?]:
Preamble: In the name of Almighty God! The Kanjoriens and La Tondellais, mindful of their responsibility towards creation, resolved to renew their alliance so as to strengthen liberty, democracy, independence, and equality in a spirit of solidarity, determined to live together with mutual consideration and respect for our diversity, conscious of their common achievements and their responsibility towards future generations, and in the knowledge that only those who use their freedom remain free, and that the strength of a people is measured by the well-being of its weakest members adopt the following Federal System for La Republique Kanjorienne. La Republique Kajorienne is two peoples united through history and mutual benefit. This bill recognizes that union and establishes a Federal System that will devolve power to Les Assemblées d'Etat. This law establishes the Two States of Kanjor and La Tondelle. They are united as equal partners in our homeland State Assemblies are superior to regional and municipal governments. However, le Senat de la Republic Unie and the Republican Government is superior to the states. All legislation that confers action on policy to local governments will be brought to the State Assemblies (Kanjor and Ile de La Tondelle). It will be up to the State Assemblies to form Constitutions to establish the powers of municipal regional governments. This bill will appropriate the funds to help build capital complexes in the respective cities of Kanjo, Numineux (Kanjor), and Loitiers, Silliers (Ile de La Tondelle). OOC: There will be two bill pages for each Assemblee: Kanjor and Ile de La Tondelle. There we can role play state-level politics. The makeup of the Assemblies will be based on election results. If you won x seats from a region in the election, you have that many seats in the Assembly as well. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The lyrics of the national anthem.
Luthorian: May joy and peace be gifted To Kanjor! The world demands peace, May peace be granted to all people. United we are victorious, We shall defeat the enemy of the people. Let peace shine a light. We will be victorious, We will be victorious! We will plant wheat, we will build, We will study and discover like never before, We have confidence in our abilities, As a free generation rises up. Bad times have been overcome And our unity gives us strength. We can, and will progress. We will be victorious, We will be victorious!
Current:
Willitu (Mapudungun): Kaliffue wenu mapu mau m'lei gná Rhe k'meké k'rouff ndeyippei Kaiñ lelf'n mai rhe süniñ nguei ngá Ffei meu rhumé udyiñ mapu mai Ellanguechi güinkil lig mawida mai Elekumeleyiñ meu Ngenechen Elekumeleyiñ meu Ngüchén Ellanwechi futa lafken mapu Inawichaff K'leviñ mapu meu Ellanwechi mapu t'affá Rhumel pegulei taiñ einguemun Refrain Ka taiñ rhumel wüitraleam mai Chemché rhumé akui mongüepai Ka taiñ rhumel güitraleam mai Chemché rhumé akui mongüepai Ka taiñ rhumel güitraleam mai Chemché rhumé akui monguëpai Chemché rhumé akui mongüepai Chemché rhumé akui mongüepai Luthorian (English): The bloody fight has ceased; And yesterday's invader is now our brother; Three millennia we washed the affront Fighting in the field of honor. That who yesterday was a slave Is free and triumphant today; Is free and triumphant today; Freedom is the heritage of the brave, Victory lies shameful to his feet. Freedom is the heritage of the brave, Victory lies shameful to his feet. Chorus: Sweet Homeland, receive the vows That Kanjor gave you on your altars That you be either the tomb of the free Or a refuge from oppression. That you be either the tomb of the free Or a refuge from oppression. Or a refuge from oppression. Or a refuge from oppression. |
Proposed:
Luthorian: Where the Sillier crosses between the two And the Alpes , Along the Moselle bloom the vines, As Heav'n gifts us wine: This is the land, for honour whose, No ordeal proves too great: Our homeland which could never lose, Our hearts' rank and rate. O Thou above, who night and day, Guides nations with thine own hand, Guard this Union, From alien yoke and pain! As children, thou us bestowed, A spirit, free, unbowed, Let once more freedom's sun, For now and all time glow! Let once more freedom's sun, For now and all time glow! |
