Description[?]:
A bill to redefine the age at which an individual becomes an adult from 18 to 16. This will unify policy regarding age restrictions, and will potentially solve the recent crisis of extremely low voter turnout. At the age of 16, an adult may: - vote - pay taxes - consume alcohol (in duchies where only adults may consume alcohol) - purchase licensed alcohol (in duchies where only adults may purchase licensed alcohol) - give sexual consent - give medical consent - give legal consent (in regards to all documents, legally binding contracts and forms of consent) - engage in work under regular rules - be entitled to a full living wage - join a union - drive on public roads - set up a business - gamble in a licensed casino - get married without parental consent - file for a divorce - engage in all other activities - now or in the future, which are restricted to adults only. |
