Bill: Eva Longham reacts to the election results, government formation and is re-elected party leader

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 5011

Description[?]:

The leader of the Liberals Eva Longham claimed the election results were a success for the Liberal Party, which is still the "largest progressive force" in the Diet.
After that, a leadership election took place and Matt Jones, her more progressive opponent, won 37.1% of the vote, while Eva Longham won 62.9% of the vote. A real success.
Miss Longham is also very happy to have a progressive majority with 151 seats in the Diet, to stop the extremists from gaining power and to restore democracy.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." - Thomas Jefferson
