Description[?]:

ALCHESTER, ERNESHIRE — The summer of 5011 was unusually dry, according to meteorologists at the Fort William Institute for Weather Monitoring (FWIWM). Unlike recent years, only 5 days with rain were reported, mostly in the first week of June. In 5010, for example, 23 rainy days occured, evenly spread out across the summer.

Meteorologist William Barrow suggested this may be a sign that climate change has reached the shores of Luthori. “The country is normally much more rainy, even in the summer, and even though this was a nice thing for picnic-goers, it could be a sign of worse things approaching,” he commented.

In the Diet, this could spark new climate fears among democratic politicians, making a concrete climate plan look inevitable. However, polling suggests that the public aren’t going to share in the progressive panic:

HOW WORRIED ARE YOU ABOUT THIS SUMMER’S LACK OF RAIN?

A lot - 3%
A moderate amount - 14%
A small amount - 23%
None - 54%
Don’t know - 6%
