Message | Mr Speaker, On this bill, generally we do not support any government subsidies whatsoever, not because we are anti-small business, but because they are open to malversation, we rather help small businesses by reducing taxes. However, since this is a very intricate situation and it is of utmost importance to remove socialist policies, if the National Party insists we will agree to pass the bill without objecting to the subsidies. We are still of the opinion that subsidies are not ideal, but we are ready to make a sacrifice. |
