Members of the House of Commons, The Progressive Conservative Party is grateful for the continued support of voters in the most recent legislative elections. In line with our traditional position, we will converse with leaders of both SPP and SCP about priorities for the upcoming term. We will then proceed with the coalition government that we believe can best function over the next four years. Alexandra Romero Prime Minister of Gaduridos |

Message | Dear Members of the Commons, We'll like to congratulate the PCP on their victory in this recent election. We support the democratic process that has been the foundation of our nation for millennia. But this victory begs the question. Will we see a political gridlock that had plagued Parliamentary Proceedings for the last four years again? How would the First Party proceed with a coalition with either the SPP or SCP? Would a coalition stagnate progress in the house or would we see an improvement from the last election cycle? Could you the First Party negotiate laws with both sides to come to a compromise that suits the needs of all Gaduris? Jack Klaus Universal Commons Leader |

Message | Members of the House of Commons, PCP is of course always looking to build consensus on legislation. We aren’t exactly sure what Universal is requesting here though. Is Leader Klaus asking for a unity government where all parties are members of the Cabinet? This type of arrangements is generally reserved for national emergencies, and I’m skeptical that parties with such divergent ideologies will be able to unite around a coherent agenda or would even want to be in the same Cabinet. Message | Members of the Commons, All that we ask of the First Party is that there won't be an incident like last election cycle. With the formation of two cabinets proposed. All discussions for a new cabinet should be agreed upon before a party proposes a new cabinet. We put our faith on PCP to lead the country and protect the Democratic Process. Message | Members of the House of Commons, PCP is inclined to agree that parties should ensure an agreement exists before proposing a Cabinet. We are still interested to know whether Universal believes that the current system where every party is allowed to propose a Cabinet should be changed. It is this system that inevitably leads to situations where multiple Cabinets will be proposed. Should only the largest party be permitted to propose a Cabinet? Should the President propose a Cabinet? Should every party be allowed to propose a Cabinet, but only after the largest party has attempted first? What is Universal's preferred system? Clearly there are still tensions over the last term even though the last government proposed by SPP was perfectly within the law. If possible, we want a Cabinet system that all parties accept as legitimate to avoid any issues in the future. We leave the floor open here for input from not just Universal but all parties on what they believe is the best system. Alexandra Romero Prime Minister of Gaduridos |
