Description[?]:
(This bill wa sproposed by the MP for Tremaine Elmwood Jacob Black) TOC will, by definition, always be a monopoly. There is no way to apply competition to the railway industry. No train company will ever build a railway next to another pre-existing railway just so customers can choose which railway they prefer. No one will ever change their destination or the time at which they take the train just because they prefer to compagny that operate the thain at this specific time or location. This is why we propose a gradual nationalisation of train that will take place over the next 40 years. Provision; Article 1) Upon the passage of this bill, a new crown corporation named the '' Hutorian National Railway'' shall be created. Article 2) The Hutorian National Railway shall be in charge of all nationalised railways Article 3) Any railway project made ensuing the passage of this bill shall be planned, funded and entirely managed by the Hutorian National Railway Article 4) The ministry of Infrastructure and Transport shall have the mandate to gradually acquire all pre-existing railway and integrate them into the Hutorian National Railway so that the Hutorian National Railway control the entirity of hutorian railway in the year 5120 |

Message | Mr. Speaker, If the honorable minister would have ever taken an train in Hutori, he would not ask for proofs that they are unreliable. Joke aside, the government has been receiving a staggering amount of complaints about the poor quality of the train services, especialy in rural areas. In term of profit, train compagnies are profitable. The only problem is that the profit mostly end-up in the hands of corporations that basicly hae a monopoly. When it comes to the amount of private train corporations there are, it's hard to tell. The situation is complex. Some corporations have recently been merge together and some other corporations are own or partialy own by the same parent-compangies. It's hard to give a definitve answer but it's somewhere between fifthteen and twentyfive. -Jacob Black MP for Tremaine Elmwood Leader of the National Progress Party in Falristan |
