Description[?]:
In the first bill the party has put forward in the new Imperial Diet, the Brown Cross proposes to: - place restrictions on what military action Luthori can take - end the support our defence industry needs to develop the best technology for our military - take the power of arrest away from the Armed Forces - end National Service "This just goes to show what sort of party the Brown Cross really is," said a Conservative spokesman. "Far from the Luthorian patriots they pretend to be, they want to make Luthori weaker. Make no mistake: the Brown Cross are the Liberals in fresh paint. Only the Conservatives can deliver for Luthori and keep us strong." |

Message | Dear colleagues, Mr. the Conservatives, We believe our legislation is coherent and puts clear, although un-restrictive on what military actions Luthori can take. Chemical weapons should not be used in civilian areas. This is a strong principle that will only strengthen the morals of our troops. The National Service will not be ended, but those that are not fit for it will be proposed a lesser paid term of civilian national service that will only reinforce their will to serve the nation. Our police forces are able and can arrest criminals without the help of the military in most cases. Our troops need to be focused on national defense, that is what they are asking. Also, we find it very strange that the honorable gentleman criticizes our proposals but the CP intends to vote in favor of our Act anyway. If the CP opposes our proposals, then their MPs should vote against them. You also claim we are the Liberals in fresh paint; You're mistaken, gentleman. We are all the contrary and we are not going to take advice from a party that lost almost half its seats in the last elections, that received less votes than us and that will soon fall into irrelevancy in this country. Message | Can the Brown Cross even explain their definition of "civilian areas"? What is a civilian area to them? What about a non-civilian area? Tying the hands of our military is not moral, it is cowardice, and it is exactly the sort of cowardice from the Brown Cross we are accustomed to. What does the Brown Cross mean by "not fit" for National Service? The disabled are already exempt from National Service. So who, exactly, are they talking about when they say "those not fit for it"? The sons of Brown Cross MIDs and donors? It is not about the military being responsible for catching criminals, and it is disingenuous to pretend otherwise. It is about the military having the power of arrest. The Brown Cross's policies are, in large part, indistinguishable from those of the Liberals. The Conservative Party is the great party of Luthorian politics. While for years we have fought for Luthorian values and to keep the left out of power, the Brown Cross's thugs are only capable of rioting and fighting with police officers. |
