Description[?]:

Former Prime Minister Wilson resigns as Progressive Party leader

After the 5102 elections, the Progressive Party suffered its worst result in years, the Party was shocked and stunned by this result, political experts had predicted that the PP will lose at least 4 seats out of the 70 it had, and at worst, it will lose no more than 15 seats. 30 is the number of seats that the PP lost, it was a huge affront, for the Moderates and the Internationalists, the blame went to the former Cabinet led by Prime Minister Wilson, as well as to his immobility in the face of the NDM-CR, which insisted that they lead the cabinet, most members felt that a compromise had to be made between the parties, with one taking the post for a certain time and the other for the rest time. The Kennedy Plan, already arousing the opposition of the Moderate and Internationalist Branches, was thrown in the trash, because the KP was not appreciated by the people, the members of the Party separated from this economic plan, the PM Wilson, being dropped by most of his supporters, gave a note to the Party announcing his resignation from his post, left in disgrace, the PP hopes to turn Wilson's page as soon as possible.
