Bill: Call for early elections, May 5112

Details

Submitted by[?]: The Federal Whig Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: March 5113

Description[?]:

We, the Federalism Today, Tomorrow, Forever, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. This is largely due to the Federalists doubting the ability of the Liberals to function due to abstaining from the Cabinet vote.

MessageOOC: To be honest if they haven't logged on for days it doesn't really warrant an early election motion and also why continue sticking with the same coalition there are two other parties that haven't been in govt for quite a long time

MessageOOC: The other two parties haven't exactly been able to form a government, have they? And the Libs tend to stay away until just before they would be auto deleted for inactivity.

MessageOOC: Well government formation doesn't really require both sides to reach out. Surely you must have assumed that after so many years in opposition that naturally we would want to be part of govt

MessageNo, because I tend to not make assumptions here.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.
