Message | You are what you eat, so what happens if you're not sure what you're eating? This bill seeks to inform the consumer. Over 90% of food is grown and sold here in Keymon. The remaining 10% are speciaty foods. There has been no alternative market for consumers to purchase food with proper information. The market has failed to provide alternatives, not because the market desires it, but because of the bottom line. The turth of the matter is prices will be increase by less than a nickel, and only for the first 2 years post implementation. There are no reasons not to pass this bill. |

Message | Hogwash. If the people wish to know what their foods contain, they can buy them from one of the many companies that does label their products. We don't need to put any extra strain on our agricultural and processing industries. |
