Message | We would support, if this bill provided guarantees that the poorest Ikradonians will still receive the health care they require. |

Message | The IPC cannot find a legislative option to do so, but would be glad to divert the government savings from diversifying the health care system into subsides for the poorest citizens. Those less fortunate deserve no less. |

Message | IFP - this would not allow what you desire. Unfortunately, the only way to guarantee universal healthcare is to regulate it. If it was possible to not regulate it and for it to be universal, we would back it, but until such utopia arrives, we must step in. |
Date | 02:55:45, June 04, 2006 CET | From | New Democratic Party | To | Debating the Health System Revitalization Act |
Message | Essentially you're taking the current system and removing all the oversight. That's dangerous, for one, and it doesn't benefit the poor as you think it will. We risk having a two-tier healthcare system - a private, high quality one for the rich and a public, lower quality one for everyone else.. |
Date | 20:29:09, June 05, 2006 CET | From | Lyika ati Isọdọtun | To | Debating the Health System Revitalization Act |
Message | Before we approve such a sweeping reform and out of respect to the opposition, we will wait until after the next election to make sure that the current coalition retains a mandate. |
