Message | "Actually, upon hearing the arrogant, ageist, hateful remarks of the BAP, we will not participate in any Cabinet that includes them, especially given that they are twisting several of the bills written and passed (or written and failed) in recent weeks, some of which have been proposed by the Federalists, some of which have not. "And the Federalists also created a bill disallowing all cabinet proposals by any party other than themselves." False. The Federalists passed a bill that every party except the BAP supported allowing the head of state, incidentally the Federalist Party, to form a Cabinet. As the Federalist Party did not run a Presidential candidate, then there was no way we would have been able to form the Cabinet. This is simply trying to spread terror and hatred regarding our party. "The Federalists also allowed a recent bill increasing tax percentages of profits made by organizations, forbidding home-schooling, disallowing all but 1 TOC, and nationalizing all energy by abstaining and ignoring it entirely." We've long stood for several of these things. I'll remind the BAP that they recently voted down a proposal to lower taxes across the nation simply because it was a Federalist bill, providing no other reason for voting against it. "The Federalists are a prideful arrogant old group of who should be retired old men..." The vast majority of our members in Parliament are under 30, and all but 15 of our MPs are women. "...begging to be recognized by the modern world which they simply do not belong in." When the BAP has actually done something productive with themselves instead of simply trying to tear the social security net apart in the name of freedom, then we might give this statement a grain of salt. Don't worry-- we'll wait. |

Message | OOC: Here's the link to the tax bill. http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=677126 From the top bracket to the bottom bracket, taxes would be cut down by -2%, -2%, -3%, -2%, -3%, -2%, -2%, and -3% respectively. I proposed this after paying off the national debt and rebalancing the budget for y'all. Last time I do that without playing political games with it. I have run some of the most respectable economic policies OOC and this resulted in me being appointed Finance Minister year after year for decades-- nearly a hundred years straight, in fact. |

Message | "I would also like to recognize that many of us have just joined or rejoined Parliament," said John Mattox IV. "I'm a mere 33 years old. Most of my life has been spent working as a finance and economic advisor. If the BAP is going to attack us, they ought to bother to do their research-- and do it effectively at that..." |

Message | OOC: The thing is with this 'paying off the national debt' stuff no one really knows what the national debt is. This wasn't discussed as an RP issue with other parties or outlined in a bill that RPed this, so technically you are not following Particracy rules and also just making something up without anybody knowing what it is |

Message | The "hateful remarks of the BAP" which were entirely deserved. For the entirety of your current stay here in Beluzia, we have hated your party and you have to ours. How are you in any way surprised by our beliefs? Why would we think any more of your disgusting little followers? And We agree with the Unsubmissives, nobody has even mentioned the "national debt" for the past 33 years that our party has existed. We've also reported your party for not following the rules so hopefully something comes of that. Good Day. |

Message | OOC: BAP, you really need to separate OOC from IC. Unless otherwise indicated, my posts are IC. I have nothing against you personally, and I'd really appreciate it if you'd back off on the personal attacks that have nothing to do with IC remarks. As for the "national debt," it's something I've previously brought up in other proposals, and it's not something that's been questioned before; mind, that was also before my temporary absence from the game. As it was not questioned before, I assumed it would not be questioned now. I'll refrain from it in the future. |
