| --Background-- Over the course of the premiership of PM Carlston, 3 blocks have dominated ducal politics: The moderate Alliance for Luthori (LL, CSCU, RftE), the far-right Alliance for the Fatherland (PB, FLU, FP) and the centre-left Alliance Party of Luthori. Many groups have voiced an opposition to this monopoly, where small parties recieve little to no representation, owing to the prevalence of majorities. This bill is aimed to adress this. --Articles-- 1. 26 seats will be allocated to eligible parties/alliances according to Article 2; 75 seats will be awarded to parties/alliances reaching 5% of the vote. 2. A party will be eligible for the 26 seats specified in Article 1, if they are the largest party/alliance, or has 5% or less between it and the largest party/alliance. |
