MessageAh, ah,
We came from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blew.
The hammer of the gods drove our ships to our new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Malivia, I am coming!

On we sweep with threshing oar, Our only goal will be the eastern shore.

Ah, ah,
We came from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blew.
How soft our fields so green, can whisper tales of *,
Of how we calmed the tides of war. We are our own overlords.

On we sweep with threshing oar, Our only goal will be the eastern shore.

So now wed better stop and rebuild all your ruins,
For peace and trust will win the day despite of everything.

MessageOOC: Unless the player behind SRP is Robert Plant, I'm guessing the answer to that question is no.

Message00c: i was thinking more about the land from ice and snow part. maybe we could say we are from atlantis.

We came from the land of the ice and snow,
--could be--
We came from land that sunk below,

and

From the midnight sun where the hot springs blew.
--could be--
From the watery world where the currents flow.
--or--
From the watery world where the dolphins go.

and

To fight the horde, singing and crying: Malivia, I am coming!
--could be--
To swim to the beach, singing and cry: Malivia, I am coming!

So it would look like:

Ah, ah,
We came from land that sunk below,
From the watery world where the currents flow.
The hammer of the gods drove our ships to our new lands,
To swim to the beach, singing and cry: Malivia, I am coming!

On we sweep with threshing oar, Our only goal will be the eastern shore.

--and so on until--

So now wed better stop and rebuild all your ruins,
For peace and trust will win the day despite of everything.

MessageWe object to both the mention of god in our national anthem, as it constitutes a state endorsement of religion, and the use of war imagery. And, frankly, we don't see any reason for the national anthem to have words at all, and would prefer an instrumental piece.
