Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Description[?]:
There is no need for laws such as this, currently if you examine the list of countries that also subscribe to this law the vast majority are heavily right wing empires and kingdoms, we do not need to be associated with this kind of jingoism and suggest we bring ourselves in line with more progressive standards. |

Message | "The vast majority of countries that do this may be heavily right-wing empires or kingdoms, but we are not. We are a proud nation of freedom and liberty. So what if we have something in common with such places? I am sure we have a lot more in common with them, but I don't see us abolishing cars or elections. It's a correllation without causation fallacy that you're using here. You can tell a lot about a man by whether he calls singing the national anthem patriotism or jingoism. But I ask you this - what nations has Keymon declared war against in this alleged jingoistic ferver? To label the patriotic singing of the national anthem thus is tantamount to slander. And I fail to see what the harm is in having this law." -- Sonny McCormick, Minister of the Interior |

Message | "O Keymon from shore to shore. Bless all her people and her Lands With our protecting hands. Joy, Peace, Progress and Prosperity; That men should brothers be, make nations see. Land dear and beautiful, Cradle of noble heroes, Ne'er shall invaders Trample thy sandy shores. Its environment is dear to all hearts Its forests and wildlife respected, Oh, never shall its shining fields Be dimmed by tyrants might. Now, with great prosperity rising, Let us hail you, O great land! Our Nation, Keymon, Stands for evermore. Which lines does the representative from the AMSSM think should not be sung?" -- Director General Angel Daniels |

Message | How can you call the singing of the national anthem every day patriotism when it is forced upon children? You have no idea whether the children agree with what they are singing and by your logic dictatorship are the most patriotic because they have the highest amount of national anthem singing. It does not matter whether we agree with the lyrics of the anthem or not, it is unnecessary to sing it every day and not instills an idea of subservience to the nation, but is also a waste of time. |
