| Dear colleagues, Luthori finally has a cabinet that represents a majority of its citizens. The Alliance Party return to power will not be for nothing. We are going to work tirelessly towards a democratic, tolerant, socialist and responsible society. [...] We are going to guarantee access to abortion so that every woman can choose what is best for her. Sexual relations of all types will be legal nationwide and the police will be banned from patrolling private property. [...] The new cabinet will also support a Social Justice program to help the weakers in our society. Minimum wage will be increased and the right to strike will be re-established. [...] We will also take care of the climate emergency that is threatening Terra by reducing our Co2 emissions. [...] The new immigration policy will be more tolerant and relaxed so that our economy can grow through immigration while rescuing refugees from war-torn or poor countries. The Carlston Era is over, just like the Patriotic Bloc era. Time for a green, healthy, socialist and tolerant society!! Charlotte Davies, leader of the APL - Left Green - Human rights: 1. Abortion is allowed during the first trimester. 2. The government provides funding for abortions. 3. The police patrol public property at all times. 4. Sexually explicit material is allowed, but violent or hard core pornography is banned. (on TV). 5.Sexual relations of all types are legal for consenting adults. - Social justice: 6.Tax percentage of the profit made by corporations increased to 16% 7. One third of corporate boards must consist of employee 8.The government enforces a salary cap (the highest salary cannot be more than 15 times higher than the lowest salary ) 9.All workers have the right to strike but certain categories of workers regarded as critical to society have to ensure a minimal service. 10. All enterprises are required to cover basic payroll contributions for their employees. 11. Increase minimum wage by 15% by the end of the term. 12. Increase education budget by 2 billions to fund the free tuition that was passed 13. Increase health by 3 billions funded by the surplus and corporate tax rate. - Climate emergency 14. Hunting endangered animals is illegal. 15. The government enforces highly restrictive industrial pollution standards. 16. The government is responsible for waste disposal. 17. The official government position is that climate change is a serious issue. We need to take significant steps to stop it. 18. The government requires tree plantation at higher than replacement levels for all logging or clearance operations. - Foreign policy, military and immigration 19. The nation allows for imports, but imposes tariffs and quotas in certain areas. 20. The government gives moderate aid to countries in need. 21. All refugees are welcome, regardless of their reason, and given aid in integrating them into the country. 22. Conscientious objectors are exempted. 23. Paramilitaries are illegal and the recognized government may intervene freely to stop any possible activity. |
