MessageMr. Speaker,

The NPP claimed that we only supported the first version of this bill, because they (the NPP) held the Office of President. They falsey claimed that we would not dare propose such a bill once "we win the Presidency".

But here we are.

A real Monarchist (unlike the Party of Hypocrites, the MPH, which still insisted on supporting a republican for the presidency), the PP has won.

And here we are proposing a bill to end this undemocratic handicap on Hutorian democracy.

The NPP maybe a republican party, but the only Republic they believe in is one where they hold absolute power. Where they determine who is "fit to be in the cabinet". Where they refuse to hold early elections to fill in vacant seats in the Senate. Where they decide to throw away 20 million Hutori's votes. That is the NPP, and that is thier mission.

We hope that all parties support this bill to end the years of political al crisis we have been enduring. This Bill will allow parties to propose coalitions and form governments that maintain the support of the people of Hutori.

Let's bring an end to the NPP-LDU Regime, once and for all.

Long Live Hutori

MessageMr Speaker,

The irony is that the opposition did win the Presidency but the the Hon. Gentleman still blames the NPP-LDU coalition for not being able to form a proper Government.

The LDU also want to see a working Government and will support this initiative,

MessageMr. Speaker,

Even if we lost the Presidential election, we stand by our values. Under the rules of the republic, it is the prerogative of the President to form a cabinet. Although we opposed the election of a monarchist President, the people of Hutori have chosen a new President and now it is the duty of this President to form a cabinet.

We said it before and we will say it again, this bill would transform the presidency into an empty shell. The President of Hutori receive a mandate from the people to form a cabinet and we should let our President do just that instead of trying to change the rules.

MessageMr. Speaker,

It's great that the NPP stands by its "values", but that won't help the party. The Republic will soon be history. The monarchists clearly won this election and will do everything to ensure that the announced referendum takes place and gives us the task of restoring the monarchy. If the referendum goes well for us, it will NO longer be the task of the president, but of the parliament to form a government.

I would also like to make the NPP very clear that we haven't had a new government for over a year, although the current government has been voted out. And that's only because the NPP didn't allow us monarchists to form a new government, because they absolutely want to keep this useless and worthless republic.

We know the President's job is to form a government, but very soon that would no longer be the case.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Again, the NPP is unable to face the direct facts that we stated: the NPP refused early elections, discarded 20 million votes, and claimed that the Monarchists were proposing bills for power. We have proved them wrong.

The NPP president failed in forming a government last election because they refused to include the voices that 1/3rd of Hutori's voted for. We were forced into early elections because of the crisis the NPP started.

This Bill would ensure such a crisis can never happen again by going the Senate the right to form a government.

We thank the LDU and MPH for supporting this bill. While we have clearly stated our previous disagreements with them, we applaud that they are placing the democracy of Hutori above all.

MessageMr. Speaker,

It's pretty obvious at this point that it is absolutely pointless to debate with both the League and the UF. They throw accusation instead of throwing any kind of argument over the bill they are voting on. All their words and intervention in this chamber are devoid of any kind of rhetoric or explanations.

On one side, the League can recognise that is it the President job to form a cabinet but offer no argument to change that and simply say ''very soon that would no longer be the case''. I understand the will of the League to abolish the republic and restore monarchy and I respect it. But, that is not what we are doing here, that is not the amendment that is being voted on right now. What we have here is a change to the constitution of the Republic. So why is it that instead of working on instauring monarchy, the monarchist are here trying to modify the constitution of the republic? Effectively transforming the republic into an absurd paradoxal system where we have a President, but he/she is powerless to have any effect on the system.

They claim they want to reinforce democracy, but, if anything, this bill make our system less democratic. The current system allow the hutorian voters to choose who they want to form the government. While their system, on the other hand, leave it up to politicians to negotiate between themselves who get to be in the government. If anything, this bill kicks the population out the decision making of forming a government.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Accusations. hmmmm

The NPP has not replied, nor will it ever, to what it has done.

The party that wants to "defend" democracy, couldn't form a government. They failed at leading this nation. They failed at forming a government. The UF had nothing to do with that. That was a failure of the NPP alone.

The Regime is over. Even the LDU abandoned your ludicrous dreams of placing a chokehold on the Republic.

Now, Hutoris will rest assured a dictatorial party that wins the HoS, like the NPP won't refuse to form a government, and rule by effective Presidential Decree like the NPP has been.

Long Live Hutori, Free of the NPP regime!

MessageMr. Speaker,

Once again, the UF have been incapable of justifying their bill. We throw criticism at it and they don't respond with any substantial argument.

They can keep repeating that we are a ''dictatorial party'' or accuse us of failling to lead this nation, it changes nothing to the fundemental question. Is this bill any good for Hutori?

MessageMr. Speaker,

This bill ensures that if a party like the NPP wins the HoS, other parties can form a part and govern the nation.

The voice of the people pf hutori is best represented in the Senate, and not in the HoS elections, which do not accurately represent the will of the Hutori people regarding who to govern.

The NPP clearly demonstrated this last election, where they failed to form a government. had this bill been law, then we would have formed a government and avoided an early election.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.

Random quote: "A democracy that does not allow limits is not a democracy. Just as a limitless freedom is not freedom, but prevarication. Indeed, any theory of freedom worthy of this name is first of all a limit theory. If we extend the unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not willing to defend a tolerant society against the attacks of the intolerants, then the tolerants will be destroyed and the tolerance with them! Because, I ask to myself and ask you, given a certain system that we call democratic, which is today the best possible system to allow everyone to live freely and to be able to express their own thoughts, how can the same system admit attacks against its integrity? How can a system refuse the principle of the self-preservation? For this reason, to suppress the apologetics of thalerrism, it's for this reason that the exaltation of exegetes, principles, facts or methods of Thallerism and its anti-democratic aims does not constitute a violation of the freedom of manifestation of thought, but, on the contrary, the celebration of that freedom. The protection of the first premise on which a modern democratic system is based. And this premise must be safeguarded also and above all against itself and its abuses." ~ Malik Astori, Leadership of Liberty and Progress (Istalia)
